In the present Oliver goes home where he is greeted by Raisa and he tries to talk with William.īut William is giving his dad the cold shoulder as he walks out of his son's room. In the flashback, Oliver comforts William and promises that he will find his mom. Oliver and Felicity are talking about still adjusting to having William around. Back in the present, Felicity walks in with Big Belly Burger take-out in. Samantha and Thea run back into the woods to find William as all the explosions begin to go off.
In a flashback Felicity and the others on the island are trying to find the plan to get off Lian Yu. There are no stakes on Arrow which is why it's a pain in the ass that we see the team once again break up.Green Arrow, Spartan, Wild Dog and Mister Terrific are back in Star City taking out bad guys on a late night. Eventually brings everything back to normal because you know why? I don't care if the circumstances or cause are different each time, it never stays the status quo for long. What is it with Arrow and it's absurd need to recycle these story elements? Oliver quits being the Green Arrow the team falls apart. But instead all of this happens, and it leads to Team Arrow breaking up.again! There shouldn't have been any need for Oliver to spy on them when he could have simply asked who the witness was.Īfter everything they have been through, Oliver should have had more faith and trust in his team, to be honest with him. So the drama that comes up here feels out of place and idiotically unnecessary. In fact, I think they have done him more favors than he has for them. These people, in the course of a year, joined his crusade and made so many sacrifices.
What drives me crazy with all of this is, to nobody's surprise, Oliver's attitude with all of this.
